HOUSTON, Texas – The Houston Police Department (HPD) has released photos of a suspect believed to be connected to the fatal shooting of a woman that occurred at 7625 Hammerly Boulevard around 5:50 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27.

The victim, identified as Laurielle Faulk, 29, was found by HPD patrol officers at an apartment complex suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Despite the efforts of the Houston Fire Department paramedics, she was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20s or early 30s with a thin build and approximately 6 feet tall. Two photos of the suspect provided by the police are attached to this news release.

The investigation, led by the HPD Homicide Division, has identified the unknown male as a suspect in this incident.

HPD is appealing to the public for any information about the suspect’s identity and whereabouts or any additional details concerning the case.
