HOUSTON, July 19, 2023 – A local resident, Steven Maximus Kotenai has been arrested on charges of Injury to an Elderly Individual, according to the Harris County District Attorney’s Office. The charges were filed following an incident that occurred on July 17, 2023.

According to the authorities, Kotenai was arrested. It is alleged that he intentionally and knowingly caused bodily injury to an individual, who was at least 65 years of age, by striking them with his hand. Under Texas law, such an act constitutes a felony.

Kotenai was presented before the Harris County District Court No. 248 yesterday. The amount of bail will be determined according to Court Order 15.17.

The Harris County District Attorney’s Office and the Constable’s Office, Precinct 4, are currently investigating the case. They are urging anyone with further information relating to this case to come forward.

  1. Steven Maximus Kotenai is turning into a career criminal. He has a prior record for shoplifting and he is graduating to elder abuse and financial scams as a method of support. The latter part needs to be investigated forthwith. His victims (of his financial malfeasance) are probably reluctant to come forward due to issues regarding shame and loneliness.
