Two Suspects Charged in Valley Park Drive Shooting Incident

HARRIS COUNTY, September 5, 2023 – Charges have been filed against two individuals arrested in relation to a shooting incident that occurred at 10035 Valley Park Drive on Sunday, September 3, at approximately 10:55 a.m. Raynicia Prinsavia Cormier, 32, has been charged with burglary with intent to commit other felonies in the 263rd State District Court. Faleasya Fee Carter, 51, faces charges of misdemeanor unlawful carrying of a weapon in Harris County Criminal Court #8.

Authorities received a report of a shooting at the aforementioned address. Upon arriving at his residence, the 42-year-old male homeowner noticed Cormier and Carter attempting to enter his home. The homeowner observed Carter armed with a gun and engaged in a struggle over the weapon. The gun discharged during the scuffle, striking Carter in the hip. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported Carter to an area hospital in stable condition.

Both suspects were arrested without incident. Booking photos have been released as part of this news announcement.
