HOUSTON, Texas – The Houston Police Department is actively investigating a fatal shooting that resulted in the death of a 19-year-old woman and a 25-year-old man at 7301 Jensen Drive around 8:25 p.m. on Thursday, July 13 at Vance Plaza Apartments. The identities of the victims are yet to be verified by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. Upon responding to a shooting call at an apartment complex’s parking lot, HPD patrol officers found the young woman unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics from the Houston Fire Department arrived at the scene and pronounced her deceased. The male victim had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and had been transported to a local hospital by a private vehicle. He was pronounced dead by the doctors at the hospital. According to the initial reports, the suspect or suspects fled the scene in a red Nissan Altima. However, there are currently no known descriptions of the suspect(s).
